• High precision cutting of complex geometries

Laser Welding:
• Spot and continuous welding (diameter of 0.05mm and

• Heat treatment – Annealing – for reducing material grain size thereby achieving improved elongation rate, lower risk of fine strut breakage, improved fatigue resistance, and improved surface quality. STI has optimized the annealing process for various metals, including Stainless Steel (316LVM) and Titanium.
• Surface treatment – Passivation and Electropolish – for the creation
of an entirely new surface, smooth with improved biocompatibility
and corrosion resistance, as well as for superior mechanical
stent properties. STI offers electropolishing of various
metals, including Nitinol (NiTi) and Cobalt Chromium (L605).
• Visual inspection – microscopic
examination and implementation of High Precision
Measurements procedure using advanced

| STI’s new Clean Room facility complies with ISO 14644-1, enabling 60 total air volume exchanges per hour. The facility is designed to maintain high internal pressure that prevents penetration of contaminants and ensures fast and effective removal of particles generated by people or process equipment. This new high standard facility allows assembly, packaging and welding activities for medical devices that require clean environment. |
